All plants are fresh dug.

If  we don't  immediately ship them, we place them in large refrigerated coolers - which keep them dormant and in excellent condition. This allows us to ship  perennials, ferns, vines, live stakes and mosses year round.

We ship most plant categories year round. Trees and shrubs are shipped only in the dormant seasons, which generally starts around the end of October and goes through May.

To package an order to ship to our customers, we either dig our bare root plants  - if it's in the dormant season - or go to our commercial coolers and package each plant in accordance to the American Nurseryman standards.

Roots are pre soaked for 2-4 hours in cattle feeder troughs filled  with water and terrasorb gel, to ensure a safe and moist transit.

Roots are then packaged in wet paper filler, surrounded  with plastic and then put in corrugated boxes and ship to you fresh.
