I got these last year and they bloomed this year and they were so pretty. All of the plants that I have received are absolutely beautiful bare rooted plants

Description

Rue anemone, also known as Thalictrum thalictroides, is a woodland perennial native to regions across the eastern part of North America

At Maturity, this plant can grow up to 6 to 10 inches tall. Rue anemone prefers partial shade, but it will tolerate full shade. It also prefers humus-rich soils that are moist and well-drained, but it will tolerate dry soils. It also prefers acidic soils, but they will tolerate alkaline soils. It would be beneficial to grow this plant by using leaf mold or spreading a shallow layer of mulch.

Moreover, it is beneficial to plant rue anemone under deciduous trees. This small plant has a slow to medium growth rate and attracts spring pollinators like bees. It does not, however, attract pests or serious diseases.

Rue Anemone plant is used for landscaping, particularly mass planting and creating borders

It is also used to create wildflower gardens. This plant does not require substantial maintenance, so its pruning can be conducted whenever possible. Note that deer do not favor this plant, so, likely, they will not consume it. Also, note that this plant cannot tolerate urban pollutants, so it is best to plant it in environments that do not contain large amounts of those pollutants. Regarding its physical characteristics, this plant has round leaves light green with a reddish hint. This plant also has flowers that are typically white or pink.
