Cancellation Fees
To make sure your plants ship safely and arrive in superior condition, we pre-dig all of our plants in advance during the dormant season. After digging them, we place them in large commercial coolers where they stay healthy and ready for shipping when orders come in and/or for later ship dates. This process helps us ship orders fast and keeps plants in the best condition for transit and planting.
Because these plants are already dug and prepared specifically for shipping , canceling an order means we must spend time and labor replanting them in the fields and sometimes having to sell them at a drastically reduced price if we run out of room to replant them and take a chance on having to trash them, and it be a complete loss to us. This is costly and takes extra work for our team.
For that reason, we charge a cancellation fee when orders are canceled after processing. Below is our cancellation schedule and the fees based on when the order is canceled.
- 25% Cancellation Fee On Cancellations Between August 1st and November 30th
- 50% Cancellation Free On Cancellation Between December 1st- Feb 1st
- 100% Cancellation Fee On Cancellations After Feb 1st
